The Surf Foil World Tour returns to the stunning shores of Traunsee, Austria, for the SFT Pump Foil World Cup 2026, building on the success of last year's unforgettable event. In 2025, Traunsee crowned the first SFT Pump Foil World Champions, with Edan Fiander and Viola Lippitsch claiming the inaugural world titles. Returning to one of Europe's most spectacular alpine venues, the 2026 edition carries even greater significance as riders battle for valuable championship points in what is shaping up to be an incredibly competitive title race.
Nestled in Austria's Salzkammergut region, Traunsee is renowned for its crystal-clear waters, dramatic mountain backdrop, and picturesque lakeside villages. The calm conditions provide the perfect stage for high-intensity pump foil racing, where every lap, turn, and sprint can make the difference. Easily accessible from Salzburg and Vienna, the venue combines elite competition with one of Europe's most breathtaking natural settings.
More than a World Cup, Traunsee is a family-friendly watersports festival designed for everyone to enjoy. Alongside the racing, visitors can experience equipment demos, wingfoil sessions, stand-up paddleboarding, family activities, local food, and a vibrant exhibitor village. The nearby lakeside campground creates a unique atmosphere where athletes, families, and fans stay together, making the event as much about community as it is about competition.
