SFT Parawing World Cup Leucate 2026

We’re excited to continue our longstanding partnership with Mondial du Vent by launching the first-ever official SFT Parawing World Cup, taking place in Leucate, France from April 22–26.

Set on the iconic Mediterranean coastline, Leucate is one of Europe’s most celebrated wind and water sports destinations—known for its reliable conditions, vibrant local culture, and welcoming, family-friendly festival atmosphere. The Mondial du Vent has become a cornerstone event for the region, offering something for everyone: world-class competition, beach activities, exhibitions, and entertainment for all ages.

This historic debut gives fans and participants the chance to witness parawinging at the highest level, while also enjoying elite competition from the GWA Wingfoil World Cup, all within one dynamic watersports festival. 

The Parawing competition course is designed to fully showcase the sport’s versatility and performance. Riders will face long reaches, beam reaches, and downwind sections, including dedicated segments where the parawing must be stashed—highlighting pure foiling, glide efficiency, and technical skill. This innovative format puts athlete performance on full display in real-world race scenarios.
